Well, the FC is now 52 members strong! This is nearly 40 members larger than only a month ago. We are working hard to keep everyone geared, leveling, and earning gil. The upside of having a large FC is that people will be able to run dungeons, level, do fates, and raid together, so this is an important time in the FC. Reaching level 50 is only the beginning of the more interesting and fun content.

We are gearing up to create a static made up of mostly or all FC members, so getting folks familiar with mechanics, working through some of the communications bugs, and gearing folks up has been of the highest priority. We hope that we can have a group of Dreadwyrm geared folks by the release of Alexander.

As a member of the FC, please don't forget to help Yachiru as much as possible. Yach puts a lot of work, time and materials into the gear that everyone is wearing as well as the garden, the house, and keeping the XP wheels moving. It won't hurt to have a bottom level miner, botanist or fisher to grab even basic shards to alleviate some of the burden. You'd be surprised at how many shards go into a simple best-in-slot (BIS) gear set for your characters. If you're at all interested in the crafting side of the game, Yach is not only a premier crafter (one of the top geared on the server), but also a helpful guide when you need help and advice along the way. You can easily reach level 50 in any crafting or gathering class with the right help and levequests.

Don't forget to ask your FC mates if they are leveling along with you. Consider taking on the role of tank or healer. There's ample opportunity to give them a try, and the load times for everyone becomes much quicker that way. The folks who have leveled already are there to help, but also consider working as a party of equally leveled classes/jobs to give everyone a chance to get XP and much needed gear from dungeons.
